一個合適的非形式教育發展框架會引導學生根據大學的優良傳統發展。I‧CARE 全人發展框架歸納並紀錄學生的體驗式學習活動，包括課外活動及服務。為強化學生的關愛精神及讓學生掌握自己個人發展的主導權，發展框架以 I‧CARE 名命。學生通過體驗式學習所獲得的價值觀及技能，以及所達致的理想目標包括以下部份：
